Title: study score prediction given situation
Post by: TheEagle on September 20, 2019, 01:19:25 am
Hi
can someone give me a prediction of a further score
rank 7 out of 20 students (average cohort)
people on top of me are likely to do well on the exam (maybe drop 5 marks throughout both)
if I drop 5 marks throughout both, what ss would this approx equate to?

Also considering the same precautions, how many marks can be lost stay in the 40 mark

Probably a 45 given enough people in your cohort drop 5 or less marks.
For a 40 you wouldn't want to be losing more than 10 marks imo.

Would this mean rank 1 to 7 will all end up with 45's given we all drop 5 marks (or close to 5)?

Depends on SAC scores and the strength of Rank 1-7 students given they all drop the same amount of marks

AFAIK
The strength of your cohort's performance on the end-of-year exam adjusts your SAC scores according to your rankings.
