Favourite Number and Why

Got to be honest, I've finished up Year 12 and am at a complete loss of what to do with myself. I'm bored, so I figured I'd post this, because I'm genuinely curious, and I couldn't find if there is another thread like this.

What is your favourite number(s) and why? I'll start.

I love the number 3. I don't really know why, I actually used to hate it but there is something so satisfying about it. The number 3 haunts me though - I'm sure it's because once I noticed it I couldn't stop noticing it, but 3's are everywhere! Here's just a small example: I'm born on the 3rd, sister is born on the 30th, brother is born on the 13th, niece is born on the 3rd, and its admittedly bit of a stretch, but my mum is born on the 21st (2+1=_). I also love 7, 9 and the number 13 is growing on me.

How about you?

2, this might sound really odd but i really like the shape of it and how the number sounds. i've always been drawn to even numbers more than odd numbers anyways because they are are symmetrical. idk if this make sense but if i was to draw out the number two, it would be like this: ||.
i like how it can be split evenly like this: |   | into equal halves. wow the more i read this the less it makes sense lol bye ;D

hmm idk about a single number but possibly:

7 - most "magical" number e.g. 7 horcruxes
10 - generally the best player in a football (soccer) team wears this
23 - LeBron/Jordan

I should probably find something a bit more mathematical :P

I've gotta say 8...

thought it was 7 ahah

Honestly, I don't remember what website said that 8 was the magic number. But I am a big Harry Potter fan and the whole 7 horcruxes thing makes sense... I might just have to change my favourite number real quick haha

I love the number 28, mainly because its my birthdate, but also my mums, and a lot of general 'first' time things have happened on the 28 dates (if that makes any sense)

Also, I just really like even numbers. 28 is an even number, but 2 and 8 are also. No number feels left out if you get what I mean  ;D

22 because it is so aesthetically pleasing like oooft. Idk it was just a random number I decided was my favourite ha ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I love even numbers in general tbh :)

On the other hand, I'm not a fan of the number 7. My ATAR calculator estimate ended in a 7 and tbh I would rather it end with a 6 haha.

8 is 100% my favourite number  8) Not only is it a lucky number in Vietnamese culture, it's so central to me and my personal details! I was born on the 8th of August and my street number is also 8  :) My best birthday was on the 8/8/08 which was the Beijing Olympics and I turned 8 that year  :D In short, 8 is definitely it   ;D

My little bro was actually born on 08/08/08 (he sure loves to boast about it; I would if I were him).

As for my favourite number, it would have to be 22. It's the day of both mine and my Grandpa's birthday. As was already mentioned, it's also quite nice to look at.

Wonderful.

I really like the numbers 3, 5 and 7 8)

I don't really know why but they are just good numbers ???

I didn't expect people to take interest, but it's really funny to see why people like certain numbers. For a lot of people, it seems, that people like certain numbers based on association with personal experiences and/or just the feeling the number gives them (from looking at it, or whether its even or odd, etc.) Whilst the first, I expected to some degree, seeing people attempt to explain the latter is entertaining :) Because collectively I think we all know that feeling of satisfaction that we get from our favourite number, and yet, we all have no comprehensible idea why or way to express it! I wonder if there is a word in another language that expresses it?

7.
Lucky number.

That's it.

I agree! Since I was a kid, for some reason, I latched onto the idea of owning 7 German Shepherds and the number has held a close place in my heart since :)

I like 2 but 2 is just too small, so 12 it is.
