Studying Ahead for Chemistry

Hello Everybody!
It's a new year and hopefully everybody else is doing well for their year 12 studies. I'm currently a few chapters ahead in chemistru and was wondering how ahead I should be. I don't want to cruise through the course to only forget half of it. Either from your advice or experience, please share me your thoughts.
Thanks  ;)

Personally I wouldn't go more ahead than what is going to be on your first SAC, just in case you confuse yourself with the content and study the wrong sections leading up to the SAC. Besides that, just make sure that you are comfortable with the content you have done already and understand the key components which will make it easier for you to revise. Another thing is that I found personally, cramming a lot of Chemistry content in a short time will make you forget pieces as there is a lot to remember so take things slow and maybe focus on one or two exercises per night
