Title: Melbourne High Specialist Maths selection

I am a Yr 10 at Melbourne High, and I'm interested in taking Specialist maths next year.

For VCE students at Melbourne High, what is the process that needs to be undergone in order to select spesh? Do you need to have a certain maths average, and around how many students would you estimate are told that they can't select spesh due to their maths results being too low?

I think from my understanding roughly 60-90 students are able to study Specialist at MHS every year (~3-4 classes worth) - so those that aren't able to select Specialist Maths would just be everyone outside of the Top 60-90
