Hey,
I am currently studying 3/4 Australian History. Personally I love history itself so I really like the subject. Like all subjects there are positives and negatives. I find most of the content quite interesting and the sacs are generally set up how each section of the exam will be so it is good preparation for the exam. The only negative really is that it is a very heavy contented subject, with a lot of reading. That being said it is manageable and if you keep on top of your work, you will be fine. If you like history and you don't hate reading I would really recommend picking it up, though it can have its dry parts, for the most part it is good.
Hope this helps x
