Title: What can I do if I fail English ATAR?
Post by: sajanamara on November 07, 2021, 11:26:41 pm
Next year I'm planning on doing engineering and I'm on pace to get a 98-99 ATAR. However I'm really concerned about English. I failed my english mocks which dropped my average to a 60. I just did my English wace and I'm not sure if I passed that or not. I really want to get into uni next year and I'm worried. I've heard that you can do stat to show english competency but I really don't want to do more English, I'm actually so worn out from all the studies. Is there any other way to get around the system if I fail english? It's worrying me so much.

Hi,

I don't have personal experienced with this but you could try contacting the uni's you've applied to about potential options if you do fail English ATAR. https://www.tisc.edu.au/static/misc/contact-us.tisc

You could also try speaking to the careers counselor at your school for advice as well.

Hope this helps
