I am studying both Plath and Hughes for English and there are 12 total poems. The question will most likely be comparing them to show resonances and dissonances. Should I have quotes for all 12 and by that I mean have it so I compare it to each other?  Or should I choose less than that and choose the strongest ones?

I know this is late, but, they could use a specific poem as a stimulus thing or part of the question. In which case, you would have to talk about that poem in detail in your first paragraph. As such, you should have a few pieces of evidence from each poem ready to go.
