Related Texts for Literary Mindscapes

Hi there!

I'm currently choosing a related text for the elective 'Literary Mindscapes', and would love some suggestions!
We are studying Hamlet, Dickinson poetry, and Lost in Translation.

I know my sister studied Slaughterhouse Five as part of the elective, but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas?

I'm happy with any length of text :)

Thanks!

Hey, LadyRiverSong!

Welcome to the forums  ;D Here are some of the related texts I generally recommend for Literary Mindscapes.

Prose Fiction
Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart (1843)
Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar (1963)

Poetry
Edgar Allan Poe’s A Dream Within a Dream (1849)
John Keats' Ode to Psyche (1819)

Drama
Samuel Beckett’s Endgame (1957)
John Logan’s Red (2009)

Film
Ron Howard’s A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Christine Jeffs’ Sylvia (2003)

Nonfiction
Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own (1929)

Hope that helps!

Toodles,

Angelina  ;D
