depends on how high your A+ was in mid years, brah
strength of cohort etc...

yeah looking at the answers it would have been a pretty high A+ I presume.. but you never know vcaa!

also my cohort do extremely bad! from fails to c
and a few b students!

will this affect my score? (dammit if it does!!)

If you get A+ on both your exams then you can certainly get a good score, but yes having a weak cohort is pretty bad :/, how much this will effect your score idk

Sorry to derail I got a 74/90 for the mid-year exam (1 off an A+) Is it still possible to get say a 41-43? My sacs are top 3-4 in the chort.

I did accounting last year and got A+ sacs, A+ midyear and A+ end year
Ended up with a 41, top of my class. Maybe I got low A+'s.
In order for u to get in the 40's, you'll need a high A+ on the end of year exam

I think you just got mid-low A+s, but the reason you didn't get 42-43 is because your cohort was pretty weak
edit: so your SACs probably weren't that good after scaling, just guessing here

they double it remember? so if one examiner gives you the marks and the other doesnt then you get half.

i got 167/180=83.5/90

wasnt really happy at WHERE i lost my marks though :(

I got betwee 81-83/90 for my unit 3 exam, and my SAC ranking is about 3rd, the other 2 kids got over 85 i think. I am looking for 48 raw or over. What would i need on the end of year to get that? :)

the top mark for mid years was 86.5 apparantly...dont want to mislead you so ill just say you're looking at a very decent high 40's

although...even i dont know whether ill scratch a 45...

What would I be going for?
-garbage on sacs...I think I would be in the bottom 30% @MHS for SACs
-A+ on the midyear, probably a low one, lets say 77?

What would I get with a high A or low A+ on the end of year, roughly of course?

Thanks in advance :D

Do you know what mark you got for the midyear? Because I got 77/90 which is a low A+, so I'm assuming I'll be heading for a 40-42 depending on if I get an A+ for the end of year exam.

you're gonna have to hope for a hard exam and then get high A+.. so about 85/90 on a hard exam..

sorry..

WHat do I need to get a at least 40?
If Sac UNit 3 - A+, Sac unit 4 - A+, A, A, B+ (Off an A by 1 mark)
Mid year - A (not sure if it was a high or low A)

Is it enough to get a high A in the end of year? or do i need a low A + ?

Thanks in advance :)

you're gonna need a mid-high A+ depending on what your midyear was..

Given that my sacs for accounting have fluctuated from B+/A and 1 C+, ranked in the top 20 or something nothing special, and a C+ on midyear, given that i get around a B for end of year, what would my study score be? Aiming for above 31

mid high A+ ? :|
what if it was a high A? would an A for end of year be enough?

I guess im just going to try really hard and not make stupid mistakes! especially in the budgeted stuff and profitability qs ;(

no
remember A+ is the top 10% of the state
40+ is the top 8%..

some people get 3 A+ and get 38-39.

if you want over 40 you gotta have at least 2 pretty decent A+ plus your A

Rank 1 in a relatively average cohort (bar 3-4 A+ kids) and got 80.5 on the midyear.
Say i get about 80-81 on the next exam, what score would i be looking at?

I'd say about a 42-43. 80.5 is a low-mid A+ I'd say..

Hello
I got ,A + for my two sacs and I was ranked 1 in school. Got an A+ for the exam. My study score was 44. I can't believe it's correct. I was expecting 46 or more. Could this be a mistake?
