Post by: featheredbirds on September 04, 2012, 04:51:21 pm
Hey Forumers,

I was just curious as to what Global Politics is like as a subject, as I don't know anybody who does it and am very keen to pursure it next year...

Great, given that you have a good teacher. Otherwise, still interesting but you'll have to do a lot of work.

Global politics is my favourite subject and is generally very interesting. It does help to have an excellent teacher  :) If you keep up with the news and what's going on around the world in terms of politics then you would like the subject and find it easier to keep up with the content. Did you do international politics 1/2 this year? If you did, its quite similar except you look at more current topics and issues with more scope for argument. Personally i think the content is better in 3/4. Good luck next year!

Thinking of dropping other subjects for this, seems interesting...
I've also heard that it goes 'hand-in-hand' with Legal Studies :)
