Language Exchange
http://lang-8.com/ - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This is one of those "language exchange" sites, primarily for native Japanese and English speakers. Essentially you can write Japanese "journals" (but in reality you can just put practice essays), and native Japanese people, living in Japan will correct it for you. This site is quite active, so it's very likely you will get corrections quite promptly. In turn you can also correct Japanese people's English journals.

The Ultimate grammar guide (Written by a Korean, it must be good). Covers a lot of VCE Grammar, as well as post VCE grammar.

There are also other side series that may be of interest

folding 1000 paper cranes is useful for harnessing japanese spirit, in turn making the language much easier to learn. I recommend the weekend before the exam....do this :)

Guaranteed high marks if you do this.
Guaranteed 50 if you fold one using your exam paper.

When I get around to it, I'll upload the ones I used onto http://vcejapanese1337.wordpress.com/downloads/
I recall mine were around 7 pages...? I forget
Also, what happened to VCEJapanese?
server fee renewal came around, and I found after a year of Uni I had lost almost all of my previous interest in VCE, and in turn VCE Japanese (Detailed Study oh my god that was the bane of my existence), so the site moved to free hosting at http://vcejapanese1337.wordpress.com/ My interest in Japanese also went down to a lesser extent (being overtaken by Korean).
NB: The only reason there's the 1337 is because vcejapanese.wordpress.com is unavailable, due to me previously owning that address and then deleting it.
[early hype]I'm soon to start working on a new(UoM related, not VCE or Japanese related) project which will hopefully debut soon after Uni starts :D [/early hype]

iknow.jp is a great tool - it's so easy to learn words! Also, with the words with kanji, it focuses on recognition, not how to write the kanji, which makes it a lot less overwhelming. It costs money to use, but it's worth it!

Any chance of Japanese textbooks pdfs being uploaded?
These resources are so hard to come by...
Thanks in advance :D
