Title: Global Politics 3/4
Post by: Runga Fernan on August 06, 2017, 05:49:24 pm
I'm in year 11, and I'm thinking of dropping legal next year and picking up Global Politics. To people who've done 3/4 GP, is it hard to pick up without 1/2?
Greatly appreciate any help :)

Hey!

So, I did Global Pol 3/4 during my year 12 after doing Australian and Global Politics in year 11 (that's one subject), and found it not much of a stretch at all. Really, all the 1/2 course teaches you basic terminology, which you learn in the beginnings of the 3/4 course anyway. Anything you need to know for the 3/4 you will learn in the 3/4; there's no need to stress about it at all. Basically if you have an interest in politics and read/watch the news semi regularly you are well prepared for the global pol course. Also, very few in the cohort will have completed the 1/2 course as it is very rarely offered across the state.

Hope this helps!
