I am thinking about doing VET VCE in year 10 or 11.
Most subjects will be a 10% increment and I am planning on doing Laboratory Skills.
For anyone that is doing a VET VCE could you tell me your experience? (Was travelling worth it, was it very practical, is it hard to get a good score and did you use the certificate at all after school?)
Thank you!

VET is like a "middle ground" between VCE and VCAL.. you have to remember that VCE is an academic pathway. I personally believe VET is beneficial if you intend on going down a practical pathway after school (e.g. An IT-based VET for Information Tech after school).
Most regions/areas have what they call a cluster which consists of a large pool of schools which share facilities/resources and specialise in different VET teaching. Usually it's one big block per week in an afternoon (e.g. wednesdays).
I haven't done a VET but I currently work in a school that teaches VET Music / Sport and Rec and the skills these students have learnt are phenomenal.
Good luck :)
