Title: Question about writing DATES
Post by: dunno2012 on July 17, 2019, 09:10:15 pm
When doing the general journal or the general ledger, do we ALWAYS have to put the YEAR in the dates column or would just the month and date be fine?

if you are preparing a ledger that spans across multiple years then it seems logical that the year must be written, or else the entries would be too confusing for someone reading them. But if the ledger is being prepared for one period then the year is not necessary.
