Title: History advice...
Post by: VeryCrazyEdu. on November 14, 2009, 07:17:01 pm
I just posted a thread in aus. history before realising there is probably no one on here that does the subject :P lol

so i thought i would ask anyone who does a history a couple of questions?

Is the essay style that you have to write in easily adaptable or does it take a lot of work to master?..I'm pretty good ate english soooo..

How much time would you say it takes up? and is remembering the entire course difficult because it is such a broad time span? (i know this would differ between revs, aus history etc.)

Any tips for study etc.?? quotes and all that?

Im considering aus. history- think it could actually be quite good once u get into it tthhaankss :)

Don't know if this is a little late but here is my two top study tips for any history.
1. Make flash cards of all important/key dates way before any assessment/outcome/exam, it makes remembering them a lot easier!
2. Make a podcast of your notes on a iPhone, iPod etc so you can listen to it going to and from school, when your out walking your dog, at the gym etc.
