Title: Best Latin Dictionary EVER!!!

I'm sure those of you who do Latin have heard of William Whitaker's Words (go to http://ablemedia.com/ctcweb/showcase/whitakerwords.html).

I found this really useful interface for it that allows full recognition of the declined/conjugated word's case/gender/number etc. or tense/person/number etc.
Hope it is useful!

Note: Put the attachment in the same folder as WWW to use it.

Am I doing something wrong:

This is how I downloaded it:
1. Went to http://ablemedia.com/ctcweb/showcase/whitakerwords.html#download
2. Clicked on Windows 95/NT/98/ME/2000/XP
3. Clicked on 197fcwin.exe
4. Went to http://ablemedia.com/ctcweb/showcase/grishin1.html
5. Downloaded Latin Assistant.
6. Ran Latin Assistant.

(An error box came up, the file couldn't open)

You do have William Whitaker's Words, don't you?
If you do, then make sure it's in the same folder as the other WWW files.

Done the process again. This is what turns up:


'Component COMDLG32. OCX not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid'


Do I need to unzip the files before executing them?

Damn...

Let's do a summary:

1. Get WWW and unzip WWW
2. Get the assistant and put it in the same folder with the other WWW files
3. Run the assistant.

Sorry to waste your time ... works perfectly for me ... :(

Maybe it's got something to do with your laptop dying ... although I doubt it.

Hehe, I edited my post. It turns out that I needed to download the file 'Comdlg32' again on my computer (it seems like my comp is missing it). It worked fine after that. Great program! Thanks sooo much!!!

P.S. I'm not using my laptop at the moment, or I would've had a mental breakdown with it shutting down every few minutes. :p
