So is anyone around here doing 3&4 drama?
We have our drama exam in two days and I really have no idea how on earth I'm supposed to study for it  :o

Yeah I have been doing that  :P

But I think the hardest thing is preparing for the ensemble and solo parts of the exam... I don't know what to expect for it  :o

yes, i agree!!
I am also worried about the fact that the exam for writing time is only 1hour and 15minutes!!! It's going to go so quickly!!
arghh....
Do you by any chance know anything about what marks are needed to get a 38+ study score for drama?

I know!! Thank god we really don't have to write much though haha

Umm well I know that last year you needed to get 53/60 to get an A+
So maybe if you got highish As for everything you would get a 38. So that would be around 50-51/60 on the exam. I'm just guessing here though :)

fair enough then...

what form are you writing about the performance you saw?
dot points? essay form?
since the exam doesn't specifically address how it should be written...

I'll go dot points purely because it saves so much time. I've done dot points for all of my SACs and it has been fine. As long as you answer the question properly, it doesn't really matter how you do it haha

since you do dot points, if one bit is worth 10 marks, I'm guessing u have 10 points? or do you write mini  sentences...?
I am just trying to find the best way I can speed through the exam!! haha

Hello!

I got a perfect score in my end of year examination so hopefully I can lend some help. What are the main issues you have at the moment; analysis or idea construction? Go through all the performance elements and look at how they can be utilised; that's the main thing to do. They generally provide you with a stimulus and you must run with ideas from there. It's a matter of being creative really, and a little bit kooky and out there. You want to think outside of the box but use your drama vocabulary appropriately and with adequate ideas rather than banal things. This is a bit vague, but.

PM me if you have any questions, okay?

Sorry, I didn't know? I wasn't really looking out for exams I'd already done. The attitude is unnecessary though.
