Contact Hours?

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of doing Uni Physics next year (already applied though still unsure as to whether I will do it, if I get in!). I was just wondering around how many contact hours per week there are? I know that for a science there is typically more than say, an arts subject. I checked the website, and for semester 1, it says approx 120 hours. Dividing that by 20 weeks, gives 6 hours a week?? Is that right? It also says each week entails a 3 hr lecture, 1 hr tute, and then a vague amount of time for pracs...
Any ideas?

I have no idea how it works for uni enhancement, but if you were to do it in an actual B.Sc course, you would have 3x 1hr lectures, 1x 1hr tute every week, and a 3hr prac on most weeks.

When I did uni japanese, the number of hours you would do if doing japanese in an actual degree was 4 hours a week I think, but we only had 3 hours a week (in one sitting). So perhaps they will also cut down a bit on uni physics.
