Good detailed studies

Hey everybody, what are some good detailed studies? I'm thinking of doing Existentialism or something philosophical, after reading L'etranger. This year we're using Bonjour Tristesse and Huis Clos, I think they should link in fairly nicely.

What other good topics are there though?

For swedish last year, we were required to pose the question in referral to Ethics and morality, so I talked about Gender equality in Society. I got an A+.

This year for french, the teacher said to choose a topic that has to do with Injustice, so I'm picking Gender Equality again...
