How many LOTEs go towards your top 4

Hi guys

This might sound crazy but I plan on doing at least two if not three LOTEs for VCE. I'm doing Chinese (SL) right now and I plan on doing French and Japanese (SL) later on. Just wondering that if I do, how many go towards your top 4. Also, is it hard to get 40+ scores in LOTEs?

We can do all three maths (can't we? I did, (look below)), or have they changed the rules since?

Its possible to do three maths, but only two count for the top 4.
Thats the reason why I am doing both specialist and further this year, as I calculated that last year, my methods score would be trounced by both these scores, as even though it was in the low 40's, scaled higher.
Same with Languages, english etc, 2 englishes count towards the top 4, two languages as well, the other simply becomes a 10% for being your 5th and 6th subject DESPITE what you get

By 'only 2 languages can go into the top 4', does this include English aswell? I'm doing Chinese and Japanese and I don't want either to go to waste since they are my 'best subjects'

Nah, languages as in LOTEs (languages other than english)

2 lotes count in the top 4, a maximum of 3 lotes can count overall (so the 3rd in your 10% increment)
same goes for maths
