Hey i have a couple of latin sacs coming up...
basically one is a seen translation, then accidence/syntax/comprehension of another seen passage, then an unseen translation
how do you prepare best for them?
thanks :D

Assessment relating to seen passages basically just requires one form of revision; going over the passage again and again. This means understanding the translation perfectly, including not just the meaning but all the grammatical constructions, the subtext references etc...

Unseen assessment is a little trickier to study for, and more heavily requires a degree of simple natural ability. The only thing you can really do is practice unseens, perhaps trying to isolate common themes in errors you make, or noting key constructions you're not entirely comfortable with and then reviewing those constructions in isolation.

I hope that helps!

Good luck with all of them! I have the same SACs coming up as well, except that I've already done the seen translation one, and instead we're doing accidence/syntax and seen comprehension separately.
