French essays, make up addresses?

In French letters, do you make up the address

par exemple:
28 ATAR rue
94254 Paris

Or is it best to get a real address in France?

I made up addresses, my teacher said it didn't really matter, just make it sound French. No-one's going to go Google the address you used.

I would have two addresses in my arsenal that sounds French. Use them in all the essays that require addresses. Alternatively, if you have those large dictionaries, the middle pages always have samples of letters and you can take their addresses. (:
