Hey,

So next year I am looking to pursue MUEP Politics from my local centre. Just a bit concerned about actually getting into the thing.
Anyone got any insight into this?

If you wanna get into MUEP Politics, you need to get A/A+ in politics and others are at least B+

Uni Maths is totally different from VCE Maths, lots of proof though
Reading your post, I think politics is a better choice
4 subjects in year 12 is manageable about time

It probably depends on your school, they have to recommend you first before Monash chooses whether to offer you a place, so they may take your grades across all subjects into consideration. I know that at my school applicants need to maintain at least a B average across all subjects, otherwise it's really unlikely they'll be considered. It also says in my handbook that the program is for "high achieving students across all subjects not just the discipline they wish to study in Extension", but then again this may just be how my school feels about MUEP. Just try and aim as high as you can on the end-of-year and your grades in other subjects shouldn't be too much of a concern.

They want this semester's report too, so just smash your upcoming exams/assessments :)
