This is a desperate attempt to bring life to this board - so here, share thoughts and queries on the upcoming exam.

I'm quite curious as to what foreign policy questions there'll be, and what the Australian democracy essay question will be

It's so hard to know with a new study design, but I'm hoping that means they will go easy on us (maybe wishful thinking).

It's quite difficult to prepare for with hardly any practice exams. How is everyone going about it?

I agree, it is very hard.

I've tried to look at the study design and then formulate my own questions in the same format as the VCAA sample exam. That's helped to get my used to answering questions but it's still quite difficult, because you never know what they might throw at us.

When it comes closer to the exam, could we swap questions? (it's my last exam, so I'm not concentrating on it right now) Like ones we've made up and ones from past SACs? I've tried making up questions for myself, but I tend to just ask myself about stuff I know already, so it's probably not that helpful haha :)

Really? I think gay marriage would be hard to talk about. Carbon tax is perfect because you can talk about the influence of so many different political actors.

I'm doing carbon tax, and a small bit on the insulation scheme, in-case they ask about implementation.
