Hi,

I did Vietnamese two years ago and got a pretty decent study score.

I just want to let everyone know that I will providing support for Vietnamese 3/4 if anyone needs it for this year and maybe the following years. I will also be writing a guide that I will post exclusively in this forum regarding general tips and the course.

So, please do not let this forum get empty. Don't be shy to ask questions. I will hopefully be able to answer them. Thanks!

How do you actually pronounce the rice noodles pho properly?

Is its like feerr or fuurr or foorr?? I'm always confused about this cause I've heard different people prnouncing it differently. Including Vietnamese but I think they're trolling me when I ask them -.-

Generally, VSL classes are the more popular ones and they have many campuses (http://www.vsl.vic.edu.au/LangInfo.php?LanguageId=100 at the bottom of the page are a list of campuses). But if none of these classes are convenient, just do a google search of Vietnamese schools within your area and some should come up. :)

Well, the proper word is phở. The word phơ is similar to the English word fur, but the hook thing gives it an intonation like a question. But fur is good enough for most restaurants, haha. :D
