VSL Distance Ed!

-Calling anyone who has done/is doing a language at VCE level with the VSL's distance education!-

I'm doing Unit 1/2 German in Distance Ed next year, and I have a few questions:

-Is there anything in Year 11 languages that changes from the usual give in work, telephone calls etc., like exams?

-I've heard around that the courses have become easier. Wanting to get a really good study score in the end, should any special consideration be taken to bring myself to the level of the people learning face-to-face? (i.e. different textbooks, holiday courses, tutors, someone to talk to in the language more than once a fortnight)

Would love to here success stories from other distance ed'ers!

-Thanks-
