Japanese SL Detailed Study structuring

Hey everyone! So I am just really confused as how to structure my detailed study, and my topic is really elusive on good points, but I am having trouble on how to overall plan my detailed study out, my first SAC is writing and is basically regurgitating all info onto paper which doesnt sound pretty nice hehehe xD

My Intro goes as:
Topic -> Sub topic -> Why I chose this topic -> Sources I consulted

and my sections divide into different aspects of my topic but incorporates bad points and problems into it, but I haven't really clearly outlined the good points etc..

I've still yet to make an opinion but I guess thats pretty easy to create one.

AND ALSO if anyone knows a good place for weekly Japanese oral practice please inbox me!

Hi Asteriskk,

I am not sure of your topic but I recommend this type of general structure.

Intro
Definition
Development/History
Reasons for Popularity/Good Points
Comparison with Australia/Western Countries
Problem Points & Suggested Solutions
Personal Opinion/Future Prospects

Your intro is not assessed but should be around 1 minute and should overview your research areas (ie: areas listed above). You don't need to go through all those areas but those are the general ones that pop up. The reason for choosing the topic probably doesn't need to be included in the intro.

Another pointer is if you are struggling to keep your points clear, NUMBER them. ie: say 問題点が三つあります。一つ目は。。。二つ目は。。三つ目は。。。 Examiners love it when you do it like that.

Hey jibba,
is there a certain format that the intro has to be? Like greeting to both examiners, then introduce my topic in a certain way? Or can I write anything as long as it sounds like an intro?

Thanks :)

Hey there,
No need to greet examiners as it's after your general conversation section.
State your topic, sub topic and focus areas (maybe 3-5, however many you have). Then finish with Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu if you like! Some people add their reason for choosing the topic and resources they used. Adding them is fine too
Just keep it under 1 minute!

Good luck
