Well i've done AMEB 7th grade piano and Trinity 5th grade Tenor sax, but i'm about grade 6/7 standard, just couldn't be bothered doing an exam last year. Decided to do Solo on sax this year, was a hard toss up though between the two! :-\

I was in pretty much the exact same boat as you but went with piano.. Not so sure if I regret the choice because I knew I could do just as well with sax, especially since I had an amazing sax teacher who would've set my up for uni as well. I just kept sax for ensemble work

Finally some music board action :D

I got 80/100 (credit) for Grade 5 Theory in May this yr.
The fire alarm went off during it too, quite exciting except it was only because the examiners put the heater on and the dust set it off lol.

Hmmm, I got 76ish or something for Grade 6 Theory back in the day. Not sure exactly though, I think it was year 9. Or maybe year 10. I got 100 on both Grade 2 and Grade 3 Theory :P
