oh golly. i play the piano. i've only ever done one exam - with anzca! lol and only just passed LOL (even more) but i still play. have been for 11yrs now. i suppose i can't really be bothered with exams and the one exam i did do almost saw me quit altogether.

i sing and play the flute aswell. i've been asked to sing and perform at our yr 12 graduation - AHH!

^ TrueTears, who's your piano teacher? You sound pro lol!

VCE has more or less stopped my outside-school music activities altogether. For my in-school stuff..well it's been a great music year! In May my school sent me and my fellow wind trio members to our campus in Nanjing to perform for the campus' 10th anniversary celebrations..the tickets were all paid for and so on - awesome. Then in June-July I went on our chamber orchestra's tour to Austria, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic...it was an absolutely unforgettable experience, just being there with all these great people, in Europe..a nice break from VCE lol.

I haven't done any exams since I got my LMus for violin in 2006..well I've continued playing the violin this year and learning the pieces that I've always dreamed of playing..haven't had a real practice session on my piano for quite a while! And flute - haven't done a whole lot of practice on that either. My next move will be to get an LMus on either piano or flute after I finish VCE this year - my guess is, I'm more ready on flute than I am on piano so it'll probably be flute first. Piano just doesn't come naturally to me at all!

omfg i am feel so ashamed with only completion of grade 8 in violin,
but i dont know if i should continue with violin after vce though, life is so hard and music costs!!!

But vce music is something i definitely feel worth doing, and next year i will probably go for AYO audition which i failed this year.

hmmm there is alooot to work on

Yeah, Fabian can actually see me in my current seat too. Which was sort of bad last week when I rocked up after the FSE, completely braindead and tried to sightread the 1sts part...
