Hey, tamarab99!

Here are some practice questions that I devised from using the rubric! You can generate your own from it but this can get you started somewhere with revision  :D

Literary Mindscapes Practice Questions

"Your mind is not your own. It is an amalgamation of all kinds of influences." (Sadhguru) To what extent does this statement align with your understanding of Literary Mindscapes? Refer to two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing.

"I believe the power of literature is stronger than the power of tyranny."
(Ma Jian) Assess how the form of your text has influenced your understanding of power in representing literary mindscapes.  Refer to two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing.

The greatest change comes from a change in thought. A shift is all it takes. Evaluate how your study of literary mindscapes has helped you understand the intricacies of interior worlds.

"We carry the past with us, to wit, the primitive and inferior man with his desires and emotions, and it is only with an enormous effort that we can detach ourselves from this burden." (Carl Jung) How does this statement reflect your understanding of the motivations, emotions and desires represented in the literary mindscapes of your study? Refer to two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing.

"All good literature rests primarily on insight." (George Henry Lewes) How do two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing provide insight into literary mindscapes?

Our mind is filled with tension. Literature seeks to resolve it. To what extent has conflict contributed to the literary mindscapes in two of your prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing?

"A mind stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions." (Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.) To what extent has your study of Literary Mindscapes communicated alternate ways of thinking? Refer to two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing.

"It is a grand thing to rise in the world. The ambition to do so is the very salt of the earth. It is the parent of all enterprise and the cause of all improvement." (Anthony Trollope) To what extent have the motivations of individuals represented in two prescribed texts and two related texts of your own choosing influenced your sense of identity?

Hope this helps!  :)
