2020 Argument Analysis Club

Hey Guys! (sorry about my previous post where i forgot to make myself non-anonymous oops haha)

As I haven't seen anything about a 2020 AA club, I thought I would take it upon myself to get the ball rolling!

I know Argument Analysis comes really naturally to some, and to others..not as much. Regardless of where your strengths lie the aim of this club is to help you improve your AA skills. I know this is late, and many schools have already or are about to complete their Argument Analysis SAC's there is always time and room for improvement before SAC's as well as the big exam!

1. Every Monday, starting from next week (27th April (but if you guys want to start this week I can put an article up also) I’ll post a new thread with a piece for you to analyse.
2. You’ll write an analysis and post it in that thread.
3. You’ll give & get feedback (if you want to give feedback to more than one person, go for it!), this works best if you can try and also provide feedback and pointers as well as receiving it and I will also be trying to give feedback to as many people as possible.

Hopefully, we can all get something out of this amazing club that has been run over the years!

Thanks for setting this up J_Rho. I'll be sure to actively participate.

PS: Just had my argument analysis sac about an hour ago 😂
Never to early to prepare for the exam though.

No, if you want people to be able to view your profile you need to tick the box saying "Post with your username? (NOT ANONYMOUS)" which is a little annoying but it allows people to be anonymous when posting essays

If you hit "reply" rather than use the quick reply box you can turn off being anonymous

Also, have deleted previous topic as per J Rho's request :)

Best of luck with this everyone & a big thanks to J Rho for restarting this! :D

Hey Guys!

For those of you that want to start this week, I've posted an article to analyse (accidentally did it Anon cause I didn't realise when you preview it unticks the not anon box), and If you want feedback I (and I'm sure others) will be able to give you some and as always the more the merrier!

Hi J_Rho,

Are you still continuing the 2020 Argument Analysis Club? I just think that it would be really helpful for me to prepare for my two external analytical exams at the end of this year :)

Have a great week and kind regards,

Darcy Dillon.

Hi Darcy!

Each week an article is posted in a new thread, titled "[2020 LA CLUB] Week x"
Here are the articles we've analysed so far:
[2020 LA CLUB] Week 0
[2020 LA CLUB] Week 1
[2020 LA CLUB] Week 2

Awesome! I'll definitely check these out! Would it be okay if I'm a QCE student though?

Hi everyone! Me and the user Hassan02 thought it would be a good idea to get this thread back up and running! We were just wondering if anyone else would be interested in joining us?
