Foundations maths is only units 1 and 2 so there isn't really a study score available to get.

Why isn't there a unit 3/4? Every subject has a 3/4

Not every subject has a 3/4 In the past General Maths and General Maths Advanced were only units 1 and 2.
VCAA allows students to go from these Foundation Maths 1/2 units to Further Maths 3/4.

Foundation Maths is very easy to get a 50 in if you do methods. Foundation math is for people who struggle at doing normal maths. For example, From year 7 - 9, I could not do or understand maths I would get 20% out of 100. Foundation maths are basics and things you will actually need in math for example statistics, probability and math to do with income. I am a year 11 doing foundation math and I now get anywhere from 85%-95%. Foundation math doesn't go up to year 12 because it's for people who struggle but have to pick math. E.g. at my school you have to do math in year 10 so I picked foundation and I liked it so much I am still doing it. So the answer is if you are good at methods you can ace foundation. ;D
