Learn Unit 1/2 Accounting or 3/4 early?

I am starting accounting 3/4 next year and didn't do 1/2.
Should I learn 1/2 over the break or start 3/4 early?

I don't do Accounting but my friends suggest both. The skills learnt in 1/2 transfer into 3/4 so it would be great if you catch up with others who have done 1/2. It's also good to get a headstart in 3/4 but depending on your learning style not completely necessary. I highly suggest you get a headstart in at least Unit 3 AOS 1.
