in class were doing a prac sac and one of the questions is about how cause and effect is used with story and production elements or something to help the audience understand or anlayse the movie. its a big question worth 15 marks. but we weren't allowed to keep the sheet so i dont know what the question is exactly. but i just need some help as in, what story and prod elements are used with cause and effect? im not too sure on this. any help would be great.

Any story or production element could be used with cause and effect. First think about what the cause and effect chains in the film you are studying are. What happens to cause what, and so on. Then think how you figured this out from the film. What elements did the film use to drive the cause and effect chain?
Let's say Tom punches Phil. Something must have caused that Tom to the punch - so how did the film acknowledge this - did the monologue over the top say Phil had stolen money from Tom (sound), or did Tom finally gain the courage to stand up to Phil (character development)...

Not really sure what the original question was, because cause and effect usually stands on its own rather than working with other elements, so its a bit hard to help you there.
