hi
as part of my holiday homework i need to answer questions regarding family, i'm stuck on these two questions can anyone help?

what constitutes a family under the eyes of the law?
what do children expect of their families, now and in the future?

the 1st question is quite difficult, could there perhaps be a certain definition the government uses?
the 2nd question can just be answered using your opinion (backed up with justification) i think
