is there much point working from 3 different textbooks or should I just work through 1 book and then start practise exams?

I'd say finish the current textbook, then do work from another book (if this is feasible) and then when its half way through this term I'd start the practice exams, that is unless you finish both books before then

My teacher takes us through two textbooks (Double Profit and Neville Box) plus we have to do Checkpoints.

So yeh, if you have time, and you feel it's necessary, then go through three.

I do the Neville Box, for School/Homework. But when the test/outcome/sacs arrive, I do similar questions from both the
other Simon, and Macquarie Books, then for theory I look into the Exambusters.
