hey guys can someone please help me with eco 1+2

so for the budget 2010-2011
Is it a expansionary stance but contractionary budget?
Its expansionary stance as they have a deficit budget but its a contractionary budget. It is expansionary stance as they are boosting the economy through government spending leading to a deficit budget however it is a contractionary budget as they are saving more money? eg: they are getting a smaller deficit?
i dont know  :( my teacher told me something like that but i'm not too sure

Thanks

Perhaps you could say it's less expansionary than the previous one? There are elements in it which are certainly expansionary, but on the other hand there's things like the 'super tax' which one could argue are contractionary.
