is the title "Accum Dep'n" allowed in the accounting examples like entering it into a general jounral for example,
or do we have to stick to writing out the whole "accumulated depreciation"
77.85.. is the number I better wake up to on the morning of December 13th

Only if theres no space!
You get penalised otherwise, I asked Neville personally.

Ohh really O.O
But i'm pretty sure there's always no space for "Accumulated Depreciation of _____" anyway.

Dep n of ______ is fine too right?
It's all over now..

If enough space, then no - not allowed.
He said, its not acceptable. Its only accepted, if when Neville picks his pen, and tries too fit it in, and he cant. Then Acc Dep'n etc, become accepted.

but then if i've wrote P+L Summary once, does it mean i have to keep on this basis and write P+L Summary for the rest?

In the vce exam advice article in the herald sun by Vicki baron it says the only accepted abbreviations are :

Acc Depn
Depn
P/L summary

is she correct in saying this?

Why bother abbreviating? Are the 15 seconds maximum you will save throughout the whole exam worth the risk of losing marks? There's no need to do it, so don't do it.

Exactly, the same logic I based my argument with my teacher...who kindly agreed to me!
Its true, although Vicki said it, Neville has the control ultimately.
Also, as Yitzi said...I mean losing 1 mark even, can cost you a study score, an enter score a whatever
for just an abbreviation????

A mere 15 seconds, per abreviation.

LOL no one write Accumulated Depreciation, there is no need to.

Acc depn is fine, they wont expect you to write it our every time, that would be such a pain.

You wont get penalised for it.
