I also did Exit the King and performed yesterday. I hope I went well but I don't like to predict in advance :P

I was at least confident with my performance. The assessors themselves were so poker-faced I could not tell anything about how I went from an audience's perspective like usual. I did Rockabye and I'm glad I did... Because it just meant I could do something funny, but naturalistic which was fun to prepare for. There was a stupid stuff up for our school because I was personally connected to one of the assessors in one of the rooms so we all had to be like shifted around lol, it was really annoying and it meant that I performed 20 mins later and had to have all my paperwork changed but VCAA said they'd take it all into consideration so fingers crossed things went alright. We had ours last Monday btw. A MONTH ago Sam? Wow. They really spread them out...

Yeah. They go over a long period of time. Last year my school were allocated a really late date (around this time, actually) to do their monologues, so it makes sense that we were extremely early.

In a way I wish I had had more time to prepare and rehearse but on the other hand, at least I could focus on english without theatre splitting my attention.

Ready for the written tomorrow? :P

Written!!! Ummmm, it'll be alright I hope. Just get in there and try my best :P

How about you?

Also, what plays did people see each semester? I saw Jersey Boys unit 3 and Twelfth Night unit 4.

Jersey Boys! How lucky.

I went to see it, although that was for my own leisure. No way would the school pay that much for a play and my class is a small one!

We saw Cosi, which was great because we also studied it in english. For acting we watched Dead Man's Cellphone. This play will be the reason I fail tomorrow. >.<

Unit 3 - Richard III
Unit 4 - Dead Man's Cellphone.

Richard III is wonderful for blabbing on about contexts/stagecraft,
and Cellphone is pretty much a waffle-fest regarding some minor acting nuances.

The exam itself is such a weird style... the whole ability for essay/dot-point/drawings thing throws me, as it makes me feel like I'm constantly not answering the question how I should.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
Chookas all!

Cosi was good! I saw that for my own leisure too! Hahahaha.

Yeah, the exam is strange. I need to make sure I'm always specific because sometimes I make general statements.

Question four is sometimes a problem for me. Sometimes I don't see what the difference between part a and part b is. Sigh.
