Using pencil for Unseens?

I always use pencil for Unseens and Pen for the Context/Style and Essay. Is this allowed?

they prefer you dont i think
my teacher told me off for using pencil in our practice exams

use the pilot erasable pens.
officeworks $3, totally worth it :D
