Alright, so I have a lot of stuff for translation, so I'll post bits of it at a time, and you can translate it :)

I also have parts of a translation booklet written by Ruilan Yuan, and I'll scan and upload the information when I have time (and when the scanner's working ;P)

First passage to translate: (translate the underlined bits.. or you can translate the whole lot if you want :))
-from Ruilan Yuan's 2010 Practice Written Exam
中国的杂技是深受广大群从热爱的一种艺术,有着很久的历史传统,并具有独特的名族风格。它被认为直接来自于广大人民的劳动与生活,因为杂技里的很多节目都和日常劳动技术有关。据说早在2500多年前的春秋时代,中国就出现了早期状态的杂技。中国杂技在对外文化交流中一直起着重要的作用。

Mod edit: Just changed title to something more attractive :P But yeah awesome stuff!!! Greatly appreciated!

Haha I remember that translation!
I've just about finished the translation booklet; considering I only started a few weeks ago and have only been doing some on odd days o_O

But thanks anyways!

Do you wanna help me out and scan some of the booklet? I don't have all of it.

Oh and also, was translation not part of the exam in 2007? Coz I just flicked through a booklet of Mock Exams for that year, and it doesn't appear to have any

My interpretation:

"Chinese acrobatics is a form of art deeply loved by the masses, it has a very long historical tradition, and possesses a unique ethnic style. It has been regarded as directly coming from the people's labour and everyday life, as many of the shows in the acrobatics are related to the skills of everyday labour. It is said that in as early as a time as the Spring and Autumn Period more than 2500 years ago, early forms of acrobatics had emerged in China. Chinese acrobatics has always played an important role in foreign cultural exchanges."
2020 - 2021: Master of Public Health, The University of Sydney
2017 - 2020: Doctor of Medicine, The University of Melbourne
2014 - 2016: Bachelor of Biomedicine, The University of Melbourne
2013 ATAR: 99.95

a very phail attempt: Chinese acrobatics is a deeply favoured and appreciated art in China. It has a very long cultural history, and therefore, is a unique tradition in itself. Acrobatics is perceived to originate from the work and lives of many labourers, as many sections (?) [movements? acts?] are related to people's daily lives. Chinese acrobats have always had a important role to play in foreign cultures.

It sounds clumsy and is a bit dodgy :S

MSN me :)

Sheesh, your translation is practically the same as mine :P

New one:
英英一家是1990年从香港移民到澳大利亚来的。他们一来就住在墨尔本,后来搬到了珀斯。她爸爸一直在银行工作,妈妈在邮局工作。英英在一个女子中学读书,她弟弟上小学。每天早上,英英的爸爸开车去上班,她妈妈坐公共汽车上班,英英和她弟弟都骑自行车上学,因为她的家离她和弟弟的学校都很近。

Ying Ying studies at an all girl's high school, .....  Every morning, Ying Ying's dad drives to work, her mum takes the bus to work, and both Ying Ying and her little brother ride bicycles to school.

^Yup

New one from school ;)

Translate the whole thing into English:

I hope I typed it right, sorry if there is any 错别字

Would that be..

Nowadays, many people in the world are learning Chinese. It is said there are 40000 people learning. Not long ago, I interviewed an English man learning Chinese. He said China is powerful now, you can see things manufactured in China everywhere. He hopes to learn Chinese well, and get a job in China after.

^lol was going to point out something but you corrected it anyway :)

Someone still wanna translate this:

It's doable, just might take you some time :P

Some short sentences from the booklet thingy:
我很忙,顾不上处理这些问题。
他对我的工作印象很深。
真糟糕,我没有带护照就去了机场。
他一听音乐就想睡。
我一听到关于弟弟的好消息,就赶快给父母亲打电话。
他除了喜欢跑步以外,还喜欢游泳。

I also have an essay that I had to translate last year, which I'll scan and put up in a bit :)
