Mao said somewhere that Monash assumes the score to be roughly equivalent to the percentile of the cohort.

^^we are supposed to be marked with uni students as well, HD=80+ and I think the average needs to be above 80% to get a 5.5 for us.

EDIT: also what do you mean by the guy who got it for haileybury? does each campus get a highest achiever? I'm just wondering if there are people with higher scores than m@tty then why did he get it (not trying to make you any less deserving m@tty)?

I honestly don't know how I got it, but I was assured (from multiple people) that there was no mistake. The most plausible theory is that I got it because I got 100% in assignments in 1055 and 100% in the exam for 1085, but that is still just a guess.

Yeah, I know. I thought I would've at least made one mistake. But I can't have, or else my score would've been lower since I got 86-88% in assignments.

Steffi said 93 and 96 so I thought that was what you got (maybe it's her scores), but didn't the guy say there were 4 perfect scores all in maths1a?

They were my scores.

To clarify, I got:

1055 - 100% assignments; 90% exam = 93

1085 - 86-88% assignments; 100% exam = 96

Overall. I deduced my exam score for this semester from my knowledge that assignments contribute 30% to the score and also knowing I got ~87% in them.

For first semester I did the same thing, but our teacher (Chris Hough, the one who won the teaching award) let Steffi iffets and I view our papers (marking is written on the paper) confirming my mark. I thought that was pretty cool.
