Most of you have probably noticed, but I'll say it anyway; I won't be moderating this subforum anymore following that thread. I was offered an opportunity to be reconsidered for moderation status again, in one month, but I've declined this offer.

I've done all the preliminary work, all the fundamentals and all the hard yards to ensure this essay submission initiative works well, in the best interests of all students involved. Now it's time to leave this to Burberry and gossamer to carry out, as I won't be running or moderating this initiative any longer.

From now on, you won't see much of me on this forum, although I'll still be participating in this submission initiative.

Wishing everyone the best for VCE English, and also to the 2 moderators - good luck!

I just hope that all that time I spent compiling hundreds of essay topics for the year, making personalised timetables for a few members, and creating the framework for this initiative, is all worth it by this time next year.

I'll be honest, I think you're being a tad childish over this whole issue.

You put alot of work into this system, and in my opinion you're rejecting that 1 month probationary period on the basis of pride, and not for a good reason (unless you can tell me).

It's the same attitude which I think got you de-modded. You're a great guy and a great contribution to this forum, don't throw it away over a couple small issues.
