Our class is currently studying Huis Clos, by Jean-Paul Sartre.

If anyone has studied or is also studying it, could you help out with some of the philosophy and themes.

It's incredibly deep and at times difficult to grasp.

We just finished Huis Clos, and moved onto "Bonjour, Tristesse". Funfunfun!

Really, the primary theme I found with Huis Clos was that of hell; what does Sartre define as his view on hell? Solitude is generally a good answer, but writing a response/essay on solitude over and over isn't really that fun.
2013: Wizardry, life.

Yep, perception of hell is the main theme, but do you know what is Sartre trying to say with
- the elements of the room
- the stillness of time
- the traits and backgrounds of the characters?

ahhh it's so confusing!
