Does anyone have a really solid definition for social responsibility and total quality management?

And does anyone have a good change management example for an Australian organisation? I only have Nike.

Thanks!

Socially responsibility refers to the obligations a company has to the society outside the law.

Total Quality Management is a quality system that has the following features:
-continuous improvement
- teamwork and employee participation
- customer satifaction

For which change issue are you looking for??
Privatisation-Telstra
Acquisition-Quiksilver
Technology- Australia Post, Car companies
Mergers- SPC and Ardmona
Globalisation- Telecommunications companies

I've done a few change issues, so i'll see how i go on the exam :P

Business ethics is the way in which people in an organisation conduct their day-to-day work in terms of morals and values.

Social responisibility is the way an organisation demonstrates some commitment to their community beond that imposed on it by laws.

Corporate social responsibility is a combination of business ethics and social responsibility incorporating putting values and priciples into practice by means of policies and practices.

Hope that helps :)

But you don't really need them to be honest, but yeah it's upto you :)

Check other threads, i've got examples of socially responsible companies :)

Good luck, if you have any other questions just post them up

lol so it's not just my stupid school that puts yr 11 exams at the same time as yr 12 exams.
seriously- out of all the weeks they can put them, it just has to be this week. it's like completing a marathon before the real race that counts.

enjoy your day off- happy cramming :)

Thanks.

When I say cram I mean brushing up - I pretty much know what I'm doing. Haha.
