Can someone provide some assistance to this matter please.

well i've applied for melbourne uni philosophy enhancement. It requires no pre-requisites other than to avg A/A+ in essay writing subjects and B/B+ in all other subjects avg.

My marks by the end of year will most likely be like this:

legal: somewhere in the 40's or high 30's(god forbid) which i presume is taken as an essay writing subject, right?
VCD: somewhere in the high 30's but it is not an essay writing subject
english: avg 85%
methods: avg 75-83%
chem: avg 60-70%
physics: avg 50% or maybe a bit less

i have the recommendations of both the principle and vce coordinator sent with the application form to melb uni. I heard they gave very good comments.

Do you think i can get in?

yeahhhhhhh. i don't think they're hugely strict about the exact grade margins.

Does an 83% in English translate into an A from your school? If so,l you'll be fine.

amm at our school, an 80% is an A i think?

so that low physics mark won't really matter?

No. They understand that you'll have an outlier or two. They just want to see that your overall average is around 70% or so.
