Hi all,
my friend does german and she is stressing about the upcoming exam!
She does not know how to study for it and is lost.
Any advice would be great! Even notes.

Much appreciated

Thanks

I'm doing the German exam as well. Has she looked at the VCAA website? There are past exams, including the listening tasks. I would suggest going over topics that have been covered during the year and doing a couple of practice exams. If she struggles in listening tasks, perhaps watching a few German movies over the weekend would help? Practice a few writing tasks, including different forms (short story, letter, article, speech etc), from the last section of the exam.
Good luck!

In some of the past examinations, you are asked to answer questions in english "with evidence from the text". Does this involve taking a direct quote from the text? or roughly translating the relevant information into english.
