Students completing this course would need to undertake further mathematical study in order to attempt Further Mathematics Units 3 and 4.

Well it depends, students that are not so strong in maths will most likely pick foundation mathematics. From memory im pretty sure in year 11 you do Foundation but in yr 12 you wont continue so that means no maths for year 12.

Apparently the foundation maths students at our school this year got to go to Hungry Jacks and measure the length of the fries and record the prices of food etc. It was either the foundation class or the further class, although I don't see the further maths people doing this.

I know this is sort of bumping but I don't want to create a new thread for this question...

Is my school the ONLY one who put foundation in Year 10 instead of Year 11 as kids were to bad at math to do Mainstream or Extension and to...save them from foundation in a...slightly harder year?
Hmm...next year already. Well better set my goals and all...(raw)
Methods CAS [35] Further [42] English [33-5ish?] Lit [35] Revolutions [Ehhh]
