Title: Sydney Scholars Award
Post by: limtou on September 12, 2017, 10:42:45 pm
Hello, just wondering if anyone knows how many people are offered the Sydney Scholars Award? What's the chance of receiving one?
And if I want to do law, is it right to assume that I have to meet the minimum atar cut off of 99.50 in order to receive SSA?
Thanks :)

I have no idea about the amount of people that get accepted and I am pretty sure USYD doesn't release this info anyways. For law, you don't necessarily need 99.50 to receive Sydney Scholars Award as the minimum requirement is 95 atar and you can make it into law by having an atar below 99.50 through alternate pathways.

Does anyone know if we can still apply for Sydney scholars?

Can you apply for the Sydney's Scholar's Award if you are 1 year out of school, but deferred your degree?

I missed the cut-off for the 2018 applications and also didn't realise that it was deferrable!  :-\
