My school is currently up to 5.3 in Mathquest, should I be concerned? Our timeline says we should have finished 7.3 as of yesterday :'(
I am absolutely freaking out, we are a month behind.
Should I start teaching myself?

Well I'm not sure what the chapters are in maths quest, but in class (doing the Cambridge textbook) we are finishing integration techniques (chapter 7) but I'm working ahead to finish the course earlier and am starting kinematics (chapter 10).

That is miles ahead of us, I am just worried that I won't understand the calculus stuff when I get to it if I start working by myself. :-\

I guess I'm lucky because I have my brother to explain it. What topic are you up to at the moment?

Vectors at the moment, and yeah I'm on my own as I'm the eldest :'(

You should go on finishing the course yourself. Don't wait for the class. (We finished vectors 2 months ago, and have completed complex numbers, integration, differentiation, circular functions, graphing quotient/ rational functions)

Oh my... :-[, advice taken, will do!

What topics have you done? We did vectors first but I assume you must have done some other topics.

My school has done chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 and we're doing chapter 7 right now of maths quest. If you feel like your school is falling behind, then teach yourself. Mathsquest has pretty decent explanations, so you can probably go through the course without needing a teacher.

I'm up to chapter 2, no problems atm.

We aren't too far behind you guys, that makes me feel a bit better considering its Melb high school :P

Wot, as in your school is up to chapter 2? That's a bit concerning :-\

Yea, according to the syllabus if my school continues at this rate, we'll finish at around early September, giving us two whole months of exam prep, which should be enough. As long as you finish the course around this time or maybe even earlier, you'll have enough time to revise for the exams.

Our school has finished vectors, complex numbers, differentiation and are currently finishing up integration. We are currently behind on our planner by a couple lessons which is fine, even if the first SAC is coming up in a couple weeks :P

On a similar boat but we have finished graphs and trig
We are finishing off vectors and then starting kinematics
